COMPANY HISTORY

Kevin W. Anderson – Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining the Mustang team, Mr. Anderson served as the Texas Operations Officer for Granite Energy, a publicly traded oil and gas exploration company. He was directly responsible for the acquisition, work-over and exploration of all oil and gas recovery operations in the state of Texas for Granite. During his tenure, Mr. Anderson orchestrated the company’s most profitable exploration, drilling and production operations. As director of acquisitions and development Anderson was the key to the success of key production buys, operator mergers, and outside drilling projects. Anderson acted as the company “Landman”, conducting production research, historical property records, Rail Road Commission holdings, reverted lease interests, reserve analysis and strategic positioning of company acquisition capital.

Mr. Anderson’s extensive relationships with current owners of crude oil leases in Mustang’s areas of operations are valuable to Mustang.  Mr. Anderson’s insight and specific knowledge as to the timing and reasoning behind likely lease availability has enabled Mustang to intelligently build its list of $100 million of potential lease acquisitions and to successfully negotiate lease purchase agreements at highly competitive terms.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the Fort Worth Petroleum Club and has successfully completed several Landman and other oil related courses.  He is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management and Economics.
